I just don't understand why GOG didn't bundle Real Myst Masterpiece along with Riven, Uru and Myst 5, since that would make much more sense. If your submission does not appear, do not delete it. Had I known that Real Myst was a remake of the original Myst, and that there even was a Real Myst Masterpiece edition, I would have bought the latter instead. I recently bought the game in a GOG bundle that came with "Myst Masterpiece Edition", "Riven", "Real Myst", "Uru" and "Myst 5". Plus, the would always crash after only a few seconds playing. I tried running it in compatibility mode with Windows XP, but there was no difference in graphics. Maybe if the window was a little smaller, the pixels wouldn't be so huge and the graphics wouldn't look so blocky. Let's hope this was of help! Well, I just watched a video of the original Myst on Youtube, and that's exactly how my game looks like, which leads me to believe I am not seeing the graphics I was supposed to see (check attached image). This, however, might not fix your problems, since I don't know what the specific problem is, you didn't add an image link or anything after all. In order to get the game to work correctly, you should set it to run as Windows XP. Oh, and be careful, some people have mistakenly purchased "Myst: Masterpiece Edition" instead of "RealMyst: Masterpiece Edition" and have run into a misunderstanding regarding the graphics, I'm not saying it's your case, but the possibility exists.Īntairan: Well, if the edition you got is the "Myst: Masterpiece Edition", the images displayed on the store page should be the very same ones you're getting on your PC, however, there's a possibility that your settings aren't correctly configured, since the "Myst: Masterpiece Edition" version was not released for Windows Vista, 7, and beyond. On the other hand, if the edition you got is the "RealMyst: Masterpiece Edition", there's a menu to change the graphics configuration, allowing many resolution settings, V-Synch, graphical detail, texture resolutions and quite a few others. Isn't the masterpiece edition supposed to have enhanced graphics? I see no option to change that, so is there anything I can do to change that? Well, if the edition you got is the "Myst: Masterpiece Edition", the images displayed on the store page should be the very same ones you're getting on your PC, however, there's a possibility that your settings aren't correctly configured, since the "Myst: Masterpiece Edition" version was not released for Windows Vista, 7, and beyond. They look nothing like the pictures on the store page. Avastgard: The graphics I am seeing in-game seem to be the exact same graphics from when the game was released.
